Come hear the remarkable story and get acquainted with the people and organizations who accomplished this most remarkable addition of 140 beautiful acres to our precious Palisades Park. Spokane Parks Department board members, Mayor Lisa Brown and other City and County officials will lead this commemoration and recognition event. Expect representatives from Friends of Palisades, Inland Northwest Land Conservancy, the Spokane Tribe, Back Country Horsemen, Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance, Washington Trails Association, Spokane Mountaineers and more! Plan on hiking the new 1.5 mile “loop” trail before or after the ceremony!
